I noticed :icontalenthaven: organizes art challenges just like I did a whole while ago with this piece -> [link]

The theme this week was "Holiday" ^^ I wasn't sure what to draw at first so I did a google search for inspiration... I decided I wanted to draw some empty yet beckoning landscape :) and I had a relatively close ref in this image: [link]

It was quite a speed painting, took two hours on it while chatting. :)

oo i love love love how the water came out! the only thing that looks a little wonky is the perspective on the chair. the bottom and the arms look like they're headed in different directions :P

but other than that, fabulous!!

me tooo :P lol :P I drew it cause I won't be going to the seaside this summer (I usually do)... most of my holiday this year consists of going to friend's places outside my town :P which is very fun too, but I love the whole sea and swimming deal :P

DUDE, you're so right. I was lazy and ignored the perspective altogether :P thanks for pointing it out. maybe I'll fix it when I get back on tuesday :)

Beautiful!!! Especially the sky. And the lighting/shading is great. :D The only thing I can point out is that the chair looks a bit crooked. Other than that I love this!
