A work in progress. I'm drawing ~PhoenixDreamAngel's character, Mitsuko. She's supposed to be a goddess of light and creation, and I'm hoping the final piece will actually reflect that too :P

Taking a loooot of liberties with the character, but hopefully Michelle won't hate me for em and she'll like the end result ^^

pose ref -> mom was gracious enough to pose for me for as long as it took to do the basic sketch. she had her spine in a more comfortable position though, thank god lol :) further referencing for the hands from my and her hands. those hands were the death of me :P

Oh my gosh I just got back from a day in hell (quite literally) and I was all fumming and then ...then I open this up and see the pic :)

(HUGGLES) NOW I can smile LOL!

This is fantastic, it's beautiful, and I can only imagine how much more beautiful it'll get when it's colored. You aren't taking tons of liberties...see Mitsuko likes lots of outfits ;) LOL I like seeing my characters in more then one outfit style :)

This is fabulous and honestly the first pic I've seen thats been entered into my contest :)

Can't wait!

thank you... it's soooo damn hard to color. *throws rocks at it* :( I hope I manage to figure it out in the end, right now all I'm trying clashes with what's already there :(

aww, I'm glad you like it ^^ I'm currently having some problems figuring out what to color this (mostly the background :P ) but I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually ^^

I like it. Good, clean linework with some nice proportions. The hands are very good especially,...;
but the upper lip gets me. Usually on people there is a "lip indentation" or a kind of "dent" that curves down on the upper part of the lip. The part I speak of is mostly in the middle of the upper lip.

I understand this is a work in progress, so I wasnt shure if you noticed this or not. But even with it, it is going to be something great. :XD: sorry, I know I can ramble :XD: :poke:
