Oh my god. I'm so excited I'm shaking. ~sets as wallpaper~ The ears, the eyelashes, the texture of the skin... This is the best art ever. I love this so much. Her eyes are so beautiful. I love this sooo much my words escape me.

~tries to calm down enough to comment on the art~ I love the way you did the skin, it looks real. It has this dotted look to it that's really successful. The spots of shine on the nose and lips are beautiful and always draw my eyes to her. Her ears are adorably drawn and perfectly kinky, I love it. The horns are really cool. I just saw her cleavage whilst admiring the ruffling you did on the undershirt -- preeeettty & shiny for the WIN. I just want to grab her and glomp her and shake her and kiss her and get an eldritch blast to the face.

Her eyes are what I love the most. So beautiful, so REAL. If she were a real person, her eyes would look just like that. And the attention to detail is ASTOUNDING -- even her lashes are blonde! <33333 I'm so happy. The hair is awesome, too, btw. Godddd this just made my YEAR.

daaaawww, that is just about the longest comment ever, thank you so much :) I knew I'd love working on it, and I so did :) the skin was totally my fave part, I'm glad you like how it turned out :) it's the only one that really has the right geometry I was going for :) I loved drawing her eyes too :) I'm a little unhappy at the shading on the face and the clothes, which feel a little flat to me, but overall it was so fun to draw, and it totally got me back into the groove ^^ that's why I love art trades :D

SO cool! I love your interpretation of this character, and on a technical note, the ruffles of the underpinning are lovely. Did you give her skin that pebbley look using a texture, or was that something you created on your own? Regardless of which, the effect is wonderful. :D
:icontravelingpantscg:
Btw, I just wanted to tell you that I love the design for your character, especially the way you've drawn her horns. She's really great! :D

I have a dotted brush I sprinkle over the face :) on most characters I also add some irregularities to the skin, using another brush, which makes a nearly papery texture, which, when faded A LOT, actually looks rather realistic for little dents and skin problems many people can have :P and if I'm going wild, I add in some stock photos of little skin problems, like a mole, or a little bump, which makes it look about as realistic as I could manage so far :) but for less realistic pics, the dotted brush is decent enough :)

Heehee, thanks <3

Omgosh, that's awesome. I love that idea. haha. I'll have to play around with something like that sometime to change up my texture. :D
:iconmadam-marla:
dude, yeah. find a brush setting tutorial. you'll love the customize-ability of it all :D I can also send ya some of my brushes sometime over aim if you want :) but they're pretty easy to make, once you know how :P
