Time: about 2 hours in all, though I took a lot of breaks from it.

Uhm, so... yeah. Hardest one so far. The reference is really beautiful though.
One more and the February landscapes are done!

This seriously looks like a photograph! had to down load the max size to see it in full detail. really like your approach with hinting at the leaves with those dots. and I think you got the light beams coming though the tress really well! The trees are really silhouette shadows which I think you managed very well. Extremely well done hun! I'ma gonna take some pointers from this ^^

oh boy this is the one i have to look forward to....fantastic. You did a great job on the colors and hues of this one, the one thing I can see that's off is the perspective/shape especially the trees and the foreground. They look great just not quite right when compared to the ref

yeah, that's true, they're positioned a little wrong... I really did not pay attention to that, I gotta admit, my focus was the colors and getting the right amount of detail in at each level

Hopefully as I train my eye I'll be able to block things in better
