Some trips out of town and upcoming exams have been keeping me from playing my weekly DnD session I sorta miss it, and when I read =metalgoddess029's character meme I thought I'd do it to fill the void

Warning, textwall But it's mostly for me, it's nice to have the various facts about her finally down somewhere

Character meme

1) What's your character's name?
Sade. (pronounced Sahd, I keep getting that question)

2) How old is he/she?
About 22.

3) Is your OC a boy or girl?
I think she'd be offended to be called a girl Woman's more fitting.

4) What's his/her race?
Human.

Appearance

1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get?
I think a lot, of the "I'd do her" variety But seriously, apart from the fantasy-ish tone, her look isn't THAT crazy, just very sexy.

2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?
In appearance? Yeah, usually...
In abilities, not everyone in the world can spontaneously conjure up fireballs and scorching rays
In terms of personality she is also pretty strange, but few people really know her well enough to actually see that... she knows how to fit in the social circles she enters with ease

3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?
Her long thick wavy auburn hair Or her clothes, if she's wearing that red one or the performer's outfit, which sorta take your gaze away from the hair to... other... parts

4) Would you consider your OC as attractive?.
Sure... She has 20 charisma, sure I tried my best to give her essentially the prettiest look I could picture

Personality

1) Temper?
HOHO ) Like FIRE She gets angry easily, she can get depressed easily, she can hold grudges for forever and she can react EXTREMELY irrationally if she's upset. On the bright side, she also cheers up easily once conflicts are resolved

2) Does your character ever get depressed?
Yeah... In the story I've RPed so far she's had 2 big moments like that. Once she ran away quite cowardly from a battle she was unqualified for... and left without her party, she was pretty close to dying when she was attacked by a pretty weak monster... that made her question her abilities overall a lot. When she met her party again in town, she was suddenly a lot less cockier and smirkier, and when they questioned her about her running away instead of acting with them, she started crying from the pressure of it all...
And she's kinda going through such a moment now, because instead of getting revenge against an enemy that had treated her as a pawn, she ended up being forced to enter a gate to the northern continent, where it's DAMN cold, and where there are a helluva lot of demons and barbarians and such. Not to mention that nobody really speaks a language she knows, so all her cool social skills are useless But it's a lot more ok, because unlike last time, she's now developped more of a bond with her party, and she's able to basically rely on them more than before.

3) Leader or Follower?
Hmm... In the begining of the story, I'd have said neither. She was an absolute loner, and in her heart, she's always going to be fiercely independant... She doesn't really have leadership skills, and she would HATE being a follower... but for the specific group she's in now, she is ok following, as long as she doesn't find the leader's decisions to be imbecillic.

4) What is the main aspect of his/her personality?
Well, her rebelliousness, her independance, her arrogance, her narcicism... They all sort of go hand in hand in my opinion...
She just has this way she'd like everything to work out... and boy, the tantrums and damage and depressions she goes through when they don't go her way. She can be immature at times because of this. And her abilities and intellect don't always match her overblown picture of herself. She also has little respect for morality, ethics or any greater goals, which makes it difficult for her to understand such things as personal sacrifice, trust among people, etc...

History

I'll just answer there 3 at once, it's too complicated to break it up:
1) Did your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
2) Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why?
3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?

Of course she did... She was an only child. Her parents were quite poor, but it was a nice loving family, and she was, at least emotionally, pretty spoiled and taken care of. Financially though, she felt the terrible absence of money and although since she was very young, she didn't process much more than a "why can't I ever get what the other kids get?".. Her parents both died when She quite young, and her life changed a lot after that. Not really having any proper skills or means to make money, she ended up as a street urchin soon enough, and then the absence of... well, everything... seriously marked her for life. A few years into this existence though, her magical abilities began manifesting... They may not have been particularly awing at that point, but it was enough for those who would watch to notice... One particular winter night when she was making a little fire to keep herself warm, a older wizard saw that the child had tallent, and took her as his ward.
Now, although she'd never admit it, the man was a real guardian angel in her life... he gave her an education, taught her foreign languages and taugh her about magic. He taught her how to behave, he educated her in the manners of finer society, which are now the very key to her freedom and movement among various social circles... He was however extremely strict, too strict maybe, for the even more fiery personality of teenage!Sade He was also very high and mighty and very aware of his intelligence. He was convinced that he always had the answer to any problem and often made others feel bad about their own abilities compared to his own.
At some point, Sade fled from his authority and never really looked back. Even now she has a profound dislike for people that fit into that particular personality type. Although she'd never admit it to someone else though, she's extremely greatful to him, and every now and then she does regret that her relationship with her tutor ended so brusquely and definitely.

4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far?
After she ran away she spent some time casually questing, having fun burning things (whether just alcohol or material spell components or monsters ), meeting interesting people, stealing, going to amusing parties, lying that she was of noble blood, gaining wealth, recieving gifts from suitors. It was an adventurous time, with no strings attatched to anyone, and it made her feel very comfortable. Now on the other hand, while she's still adventuring, things got far too complicated for it to still be as fun

Romance

1) Single?
Yeah, at the moment.

2) Has your OC developed any romantic relationships?
Sort of. I think it would take 21384612343 conditions for her to ACTUALLY fall in love, but she's been courted and has accepted relationships in the past Usually just because she loves the attention, and the gifts that come with being courted by rich merchants But she did genuinely feel attracted to one guy though too bad he turned out to be a massive snake She's been plotting his death and contemplating how he'll burn at her hand ever since I'm sure it will come at some point in the future ^^

3) Virgin?
HELL NO She's about as sexual as they come for a realistic medieval-fantasy world.

4) Does your character like flirting?
Absolutely. It's a real basic tallent of hers She's quite the seductress

Symbolism

1) What animal would you associate your OC with?
Hmm. Something between a snake and a cat. Snake for her manipulation abilities, for her loose etics... cat for the independance and the numerous creature comforts she enjoys

I dunno... drums maybe?

Fire, absolutely. She's a fire mage before anything else

RANDOMIZE!

1) Is your character wanted for anything?
Ouch, I don't wanna think about that *gets headache* and wanted by WHO? She's definitely wanted by 2 groups of villains in the story... As for actual authorities, while I'm pretty sure that nobody's aware of her illegalities, she's commited more than I really wish to think about In one pretty large town though her party's been welcomed as top bounty hunters and heroes though

2) What are three weaknesses in him/her?
-1. Her personality overall... It gets her into SO MUCH TROUBLE. o.O And it makes her a liability for her party as well
-2. She's very weak physically... she can be killed quite easily. If it wasn't for her powerful magic, she'd be COMPLETELY unfit for adventuring... she probably couldn't even hold a sword properly.
-3. Her irrational hatred of people that help her... It makes it so hard to get her to care for people that she actually CAN trust. She ends up getting involved with too many that are beyond untrustworthy.

3) Strengths?
-1. She's becoming extremely powerful with magic, even in a world where magic does manifest often. Though over-specialized (nearly all her spells are damage-dealing fire spells, or social "charm" type spells) she can deal a helluva lot of damage with that fire
-2. Personality wise, her confidence helps her get through a lot of trials... and I consider her ability to cheer up quickly once a matter has been resolved to be a big strenght too
-3. Social adaptability She can always fit in anywhere, and she can quite quickly get under most people's skin to make them like her

4) Does your OC drink or smoke (ect.)?
She always orders alcohol at any bar, but she doesn't actually drink it She burns it. literarly She likes watching the blue flame As for smoking, I think she'd enjoy that, but she hasn't really ever tried it. Plus various people whom she's disliked had various manerisms regarding smoking, so she associates it with some negative emotions.

5) What's one quirk about your him/her?
She's extremely obsessive about fire: as in she could watch it for hours... literarly... and she'll not get bored. Less extremely, gold and rubies have a similar effect on her

6) Does your character have any phobias?
Plenty. Most of all she fears dangerous combat. She enjoys it when she's confident that she'll win, but if she feels overpowered, she'll run away/drink an invisibility potion/flying potion pronto. Because of this, she has EXTREME fear of any monsters that are immune to fire... she's literarly powerless before them o.O She's also not crazy about water, even though she can swim... but she stays on the safe side with swimming too, she wouldn't go out where there was danger of drowning.

7) What could you do to get him/her into a blind rage?
A lot of things It's not too hard to get her unbelievably enraged But at the very top of the list, I'd say "court her, sleep with her, give her the feeling that she's in control, then manipulate her and betray her" That you'd die painfully for

8) Does your OC like chickens?
She couldn't care less for the ugly birds.

The Final Question

What would you consider your relationship with your character to be like?
If I actually met her, I'd hate her probably... I don't like cocky manipulative bitches, and I'd probably not get to know her enough to see beyond that But as it is now, I love her She's extremely fun to play, to think about... She's different from me, and trying to see that world through her eyes is a wonderful challenge
